Had a vaired sail at long rock, seemed pretty breezy when I got to the
beach with most people on 6m's so rigged my 5.8 Search and took out my
naish board, was a hard slog out upwind through the shorebreak to find the
better water, got a few good runs particuarly on the way back in down the
swell, but on the whole wasn't really powered up enough to get planning or
keep planning in the gusts. Eventually rigged my 7.5 Severne C2 and took
out the techno, was overpowered in the gusts but much more fun and had some
good long blasts although the board was a bit of a handfull in the swell,
still made up for not such a good sail earlier.
